As a qualified ARNI Instructor, I want to help you regain control of your life and independence.
ARNI (Action for Rehabilitation from Neurological Injury) is a charity founded by Dr Tom Balchin in 2001 following a serious stroke at the age of 21. Tom recovered through true grit and determination and is dedicated to helping other stroke survivors retrain and regain their lives and independence.
As an associate of ARNI I provide specialist rehabilitation and exercise support (backed by clinical research) for stroke survivors, after hospital and community physiotherapy finishes.
On occasion, it may be possible for stroke survivors to join my group classes if accompanied by a partner or spouse who can provide support. Each case is individually assessed to determine suitability.
I offer stroke rehabilitation execise sessions through ARNI

“I have worked with Carol since May 2021. I had a stroke end of March and made excellent progress since then.
Carol visits me three times a week and after every session, I feel positive both physically and mentally.
Carol is always positive but never too easy, and every week I have made progress in my recovery eg: walking further and getting up from a dining chair without assistance. She has brought aids which help with my dexterity and is always thinking of ways to help my progress.”
